Hello! We’re Mike and Liz.
We are a husband and wife team working together to build a fully self-sufficient homestead from the ground up. 
Our journey together began in 2017 when we met at a pub in Sandpoint, Idaho. We both grew up in Northern Idaho and love the change in seasons and outdoor activities that comes with living in this great state. 
The wild idea for building a homestead began in 2020 when we found ourselves faced with the decision to take out a mortgage and buy a home or to find property and build. You can guess which direction we chose!
Our Journey has been far from easy. Going from dating to engaged to married while building a home and a business has had its fair share of ups and downs. 
On our homestead we are putting the finishing touches on our 36×48 barndominium, raising chickens and sheep, and planting a garden. We are documenting our journey on YouTube to show others that homesteading is not fancy, and pristine.- it’s messy and often difficult!
